About

A new way to own a home, built for the people who were told they never would.

Why Casita exists

A 20% down payment on a median home is more cash than most working people will ever have sitting in a savings account. Meanwhile, millions already share rentals with roommates and hand every dollar of it to a landlord. Casita exists to turn that shared living into shared ownership — so the money builds equity instead of someone else's.

Who built it

[Founder bio — to be added.] Casita is being built by a Broward County native who lived the rental trap firsthand and decided to build the alternative that didn't exist.

Where we operate

Casita starts in Broward County, Florida — Plantation, Davie, Lauderhill, Pompano Beach, and the corridors around them. Real homes, in the price band where the math works, in neighborhoods we know.

Where we're going

Broward first, then the rest of Florida, then the Sun Belt. The goal is simple: make renting the option of last resort rather than the default for a generation that was told ownership was out of reach.
